Pro-Soccer are proud to announce a shirt sponsorship
and club partnership deal with local boys club Ayr Boswell.
Ayr's newest 5-a-side and 7-a-side complex has provided team kit for
all Boswell teams from Under 6's to Under 12's for the
forthcoming 2009 / 2010 season.
Ayr Boswell will also benefit from a hospitality agreement where use of the refurbished bar area at Pro-Soccer's Ayr complex will be provided for post match socialising and hospitality for all Ayr Boswell teams, families, supporters and away teams.
Centre Manager Andrew Rodger said "this deal is great news for both Ayr Boswell and Pro-Soccer. I am sure the team will benefit both on and off the pitch by using the facilities our complex has to offer. I am looking forward to welcoming the players, opposing teams and supporters after the first game of the season".
To celebrate the new link, a challenge match with Busby AFC Boys Club, also sponsored by Pro-Soccer, took place on Saturday 1st August at the Pro-Soccer Complex in Ayr. All alt Ayr Boswell and Pro-Soccer would like to thank Busby for making the trip from Glasgow for the day.

- Bookings may be made by Pro-Soccer Ayr members only;

- 'Hotspot' reservations are not available on Saturdays;
- No further discounts or vouchers may be used against a 'hotspot' reservation;

PRO-SOCCER BACK AYR UNITED'S
COACH EDUCATION PROGRAMME
The Ayr United Football Academy has received £5,000 to back the Academy’s Player Education programme from Pro-Soccer Ayr.
The Education programme, managed by the Academy allows players from their youth development teams to train on a full time basis to improve skill levels, physical conditioning and increase performance levels as well as be more tactically and technically aware.
The programme has over twenty young people involved on a full time education programme. Places are not limited to Academy players. The Academy ran an Active Futures Programme with four of the participants graduating onto the FE programme. As part of the Academy’s Community Programme the Active Futures Programme, focussed on at a recent SFA event as exceedingly good practice, is targeted at the more vulnerable young people in need of more choices, more chances. Along with the rest of the students these graduates shall learn about diet and nutrition as well as undertaking a strength and conditioning programme. All students shall be prepared for a life out with football by undertaking a comprehensive coach education programme.
The course, which has been funded through the Academy, will see the successful graduates obtain a qualification to National Certificate level from Cumbernauld College.

Presenting the cheque to the Academy, Andrew Rodger from Pro-Soccer said that the company, were delighted to support this unique venture.
"This is a unique programme run by the Academy which really caught our imagination and with the ethos being built around football, education and health, it was a programme that Pro-Soccer is delighted to be associated with. It is good to see football organisations like the Academy take an interest in the future welfare of their young players and I am sure that the programme will continue to grow and develop in the years ahead".
Receiving the cheque, Academy Director Donald Stewart said
"It has taken a lot of hard work to get this programme up and running and I am very confident that, thanks to the support of Pro-Soccer, it will be a major benefit to the players and participants alike. It is important to be able to offer youth players a possible career aside from football and we hope that this will be the start to developing an educational programme with our partners that will be to the benefit of everyone who participates".

WHITLETTS VICTORIA FC
Whitletts Victoria FC are on the up thanks to a bumper five figure sponsorship deal and a tie-up with a thriving amateur club.
Pro Soccer are putting the cash into Ayr’s only junior team who are linking up with the former Monkton Amateurs who have been renamed Whitletts Victoria.

Jim Kirkwood, who runs the amateur Vics, said: “We want to lift the profile of the whole club and this major partnership will go a long way to doing that. We want to create a football centre for Ayr and have plans to form a youth team in the future. We will have one committee to run the whole club although the existing ones will operate on match days. The teams will train together and will have the use of a seven-a-side pitch for winter training at Pro Soccer where there are SFA coaches.”
Jim added: “£8000 of the money invested by Pro-Soccer is going on new kit for the teams who will both wear red and black. Every player will be kitted out with the latest gear and will look the part. We believe it’s the start of an exciting partnership which will take the teams forward.”
All home matches take place at Voluntary Park adjacent to the Pro-Soccer complex. Supporters are welcome to join the team back in the lounge at Pro-Soccer following all matches.

Congratulations to 'CPR 2' on winning this event. The team were in Scotland on a football tour from London and fought back to beat 'Rab Hume Loyal' 5-2 in the final despite going 2-0 down and being out on the beer the night before!!

Pro-Soccer Minis is a fun and enjoyable class to introduce our pre-school children to the world of movement using colourful and safe equipment centred on the use of a ball. Pro-Soccer Minis is a perfect start to the various levels of soccer coaching on offer at our Pro-Soccer complexes in both Glasgow and Ayr.
Each block is split into structured weeks with a fun theme and tailored towards achieving specific goals and learning outcomes.
The classes intend to help children:
- develop their gross and fine motor skills
- experience social interaction with peers
- learn about numbers, colours, shapes, animals and other fun themes
- help them recognise and use body parts
- increase their confidence through positive reinforcement, repetition and encouragement
- promote healthy living
- strengthen flexibility
- learn popular action songs/rhymes
